Description:
Traditional Teochew La Piah is one of those mooncakes enjoyed during the Mid-Autumn Festival, yet its presence has slowly faded over the years.
To recreate this nostalgic delight, it took us almost 6 hours to prepare it. Crafting this mooncake truly demands patience and care but honestly, it’s worth every bite.
If you haven't our "Da Lao Bing" before, it's one large golden pastry crust mooncake measuring about 18cm across, filled with double layers of lotus seed and red bean paste, complemented by olive nuts and pine nuts for an extra delightful crunch.
It is perfect for sharing during Mid-Autumn or savoring with a cup of tea anytime.
